Don’t Limit Your Potential
November 11, 2024

During challenging times such as COVID-19, economic recessions, or job losses it may be very useful to take stock of what you have and think about what could be.
Negative thinking may easily result in focusing on what we don’t have and what we believe can’t be. It may also be the question whether the glass is half-full or half-empty?
Very often the difference between the two scenarios may be due to a ‘can do’ attitude and resilience.
Some of the most successful businesses of all times had their small beginnings during trying times such as the great depression and post war situations. Your success story may just start because of your challenge to overcome low self-esteem.
I am always amazed when I see seriously handicapped people using what they have to make a big difference in life.
For sure, one of the best things we can do is to invest time, energy and money in our own development.
I believe that, one of our basic needs as a human being, is to have certainty, to have control over our circumstances. Just listen to someone who experiences a lot of stress, and you will realize that situations beyond our control often cause most of our stress. The only way in which we can get more control, is to be proactive. What it means, is that we need to understand our environment and the forces which impact us. Only then can we take action not to be a victim of our circumstances, but to influence our circumstances to the best of our ability.
Make it your motto: ‘Do the best you can with what you have, where you are’.
Wish you success.
