Francois Smith commenced his career almost 50 years ago, on 1 January 1975.
The most recent position he served in was that of an Independent Management Consultant who has provided a reputable service to large- and medium sized organizations over the period 2001 to 2022 (21 years).
Prior to his consulting career, Francois gained experience on management and senior management level. He served as General Manager of a company within the Agricultural Sector, as Human Resource Manager with a country-wide Cash-in-Transit operation, and in the capacity of a Senior Commissioned Officer with the rank of a Major in the SANDF. He also served as an Independent Labour Relations Consultant for several years.
He is not a novice when it comes to running his own business. Including the current project as Mentor and Author, he had gone through the start-up process not less than five times.
His educational background includes a B Com with University of Stellenbosch, and a B Com (Hons) Degree in Industrial Psychology with UNISA.
His Professional Registration includes that of Psychometrist (Independent Practice), Certified Coach, and Registration with The Institute of Directors for South Africa (IoDSA).
In 2022 Francois published a book on Self-Esteem and is currently in the process of publishing a series of children’s’ story books.
Francois is passionate about Mentoring and would like to touch the lives of as many people as is possible.
